Glenn Beck’s crappy new sponsors
On a July 28 Fox News Show Glenn Beck called President Obama a racist who has a “deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture,” then as if remembering the President was born to a white mother contradicted…err, rescinded his comment seconds later. The damage was done as ColorofChange.org quickly started calling for a boycott of his show, and apparently sponsors listened. A large number of Beck’s sponsors have subsequently dropped him, which Beck has not taken lightly as supposedly he has been spending much of his off camera time alone crying in dark, musty stairwells. 
How bad is he hurting? Yesterday evil retailing giant Wal-Mart and seven other companies pulled their ads from his show. Among the other 20 companies that have bailed on the blinkered Beck are: GMAC Financial Services, Best Buy, CVS, Travelocity, Geico, ConAgra, RadioShack, Men’s Wearhouse, State Farm, Sargento Cheese and Procter & Gamble.
Hundreds of Beck fans have voiced support for him on a counter-protest Web site, which urges consumers to boycott the advertisers who pulled out of Beck’s show. Judging from Monday night’s broadcast, their efforts seemed to work as there were plenty of new sponsors eager to fill the ad slots, including the following notable companies:

if you spent $30 MILLION a day every single day for 2000 years it would still not equal to obama’s $23.7 TRILLLION in financial bailouts
… the main reasons why people get poorer are because of higher taxes and inflation.
The number $23.7 trillion is a complete farce and counts most “liabilities” twice or more. Example: It counts a mortgage that was backed by the program, plus the FDIC liability for a bank that would fail due to failed mortgages, that’s counting the same money twice. There are hundreds of similar examples in this “audit.”
And using the same math it would be 466 years at $30 million per day to pay off just the debt that George W. Bush laid on us during his 8-year long national nightmare of an administration. Would you please point me to your post bitching about that.
And it would take a solid year of $30-million days to pay off one month of the off-the-books war in Iraq (Afghanistan not included) that is getting almost three times what the government LOANED to the auto industry, every year for over six years! Why aren’t you bitching about that?
I used to argue with conservatives that loved Bush’s war, that if it was so damned important to them that we “fight them there, so we won’t have to fight them here”, then they would be eager to support a tax increase to pay for it, no? Dead effing silence. From you too, I expect. Want to end a conservative’s war: ask them to pay for it.

Have you stopped to think that perhaps by denying the poor health coverage is like a death panel itself with the Republicans making the decisions? By the way I’m not liberal…i’m more of a fiscally conservative progressive. I hate labels.

You’d think the CofJCofLDS (aka “Mormons”) would get a piece of that nummy-nummy Beck action (they have often run “get a FREE Book of Mormon” campaigns – time to raid the Prop 8 war chests!). Afterall, he is one of their sheep, isn’t he? Does he have some sort of special dispensation (like the way QB Steve Young could play football on Sunday) to lie to the extent he does because he is on TV (always a feather in the cap for the church that likes to keep score of such things)?

I-just spoke to Glen Beck’s ex Asian boyfriend Eric & he says you’ve all got him wong & he’s really just a little sweetie who’s embarrassed because he secretly feels attracted to rednecks with little dicks but as young Eric was only 12 & was out drinking & drugging & the other stuff with some head preacher guy from a popular Charismaniac church I’m not too sure if you should take this rumour seriously…

I used to listen to glenn he was funny sometimes and informitve others. Regretfully, you cannot rationalize with irrational people. A racist is a racist and you cannot change that. Only time and circumstances, along with an open mind will change it. You cannot educate these people because they do not have that core component that allows one to uderstand the rationalization that the constitution of the very United States they all say they love, was written to protect our democracy. This is a battle that has gone on since the beginning of time. Ignorance to some is bliss – to the rest of us it is just annoying.
I have not laughed this much ass I did last Wed. eve, on my way home from a sidewalk show of support for health care. The anti’s showed up also. I have never seen a bunch of “I know everything, don’t try tohange me with facts” flag waving numb-ckulls anywhere. They shouted at me when I tried to converse with any somewhat civil person.
